At TJAR2022, Naomasa Kimura finished in 2nd place using a SAYAMA works backpack. SAYAMA works' attitude of pursuing functionality led to results.

POLARTEC®︎ Power Grid ZIP hoodie created by MMA for SAYAMA works. Full-fledged specifications that incorporate interviews with TJAR participants, with the aim of being able to be used in the mountains for three seasons. The MMA version has a round chest pocket that does not interfere with the rucksack.

The original body made in Japan has a fit that can be worn under a shell. The hem is made of water-absorbing, quick-drying stretch material in the same color as the body to prevent it from rolling up during mountain activities. The hood shape is a balaclava type that covers the nose to block cold air. The sleeves are long enough to cover the fingers, and they have details such as thumbholes and watch holes that can be used in the mountains.

The front has a lightweight coil zipper that opens from the top and bottom, allowing you to adjust your body temperature. It is characterized by a curved line that avoids the zipper hitting the mouth.

Power Grid, which is highly popular among trail runners and hikers, has a grid-like material that is both functional and has a design with a strong presence. Patented technical fleece.

Double structure woven into a grid. Hydrophilic thread is used on the inside that touches the skin, which absorbs sweat and diffuses it to the outside. Diffuses moisture on the outside and evaporates it efficiently. The open air channel part of the grid structure increases breathability, achieving both heat retention and breathability.
