Tannuki Andante Cardigan

Andante is a musical term that expresses tempo and means "moderately and slowly". You
may have heard words such as allegro and presto, which express a rather fast tempo, while this andante means a slowness like walking.
TANNUKI's new signature model, the Andante series, was developed as clothing for running (or even walking) at a moderately slow pace. Of all the items we have made, this is the item that can be used most seamlessly between activities and everyday life. I've always wanted to

make a cardigan that can be used in the mountains. It has a moderately loose silhouette. It feels like you can throw it on quickly.
The feature that characterizes the cardigan is the front button. In contrast to the sporty feel that a zipper gives off, the degree of relaxation is very different. Even when thinking of it as an activity, the button design provides a natural ventilation effect. Furthermore, it works whether any button is open or closed, so you can enjoy changes in both styling and ventilation. I highly recommend the trail cardigan.

The material is a new 100% polyester material with spring-shaped fibers (although it's not visible to the naked eye). Its best feature is that it is both lightweight and stretchy. It is very light to wear, yet stretches well and is easy to move in. It is also water-repellent, so it is resistant to dirt and repels light rain. On the other hand, the texture is natural, reminiscent of cotton, and it fits in well both in the mountains and in the city.

Design
It is a cardigan-type design with a moderate amount of room in the body width. There
are seven buttons on the front. You can close all of them, close only two, or close only six. I calculated the variations, and there are roughly 128 ways (sorry if I'm wrong)!
Try closing only the two buttons in the middle, or just the top, and enjoy the wide variety of variations. The appeal of the front button design is that you can enjoy it in a variety of ways.

The collar is a simple round neck type. It looks good with a hooded item underneath. There is one patch pocket on the front, so you can quickly take out gel, for example. The side has a zippered pocket and a snap button pocket. The zippered one is packable, so it is convenient to carry. The logo
is placed discreetly on the left side. The upper part has a simple design, so it is easy to coordinate and should be familiar with daily use.
There is a drawstring at the hem, which can be used to change the style and also prevents wind from below when it is windy in the mountains. It

is linked to the breathability of the material, but since it is only fastened with buttons, the wind enters and exits between the buttons. With a normal windbreaker, sometimes it feels like the heat is trapped inside (which can also be said to be the result of the wind being firmly blocked). On the other hand, the Andante cardigan allows the heat inside to escape moderately, making it less likely to overheat. It is also effective in situations common in trail running, where you keep moving while wearing it.

It is a cardigan that can be used every day, whether on the trail, in everyday life, or on a trip, and is lightweight and comfortable to wear.

-Material
Traditionally, in order to give a material stretch, polyurethane, which has the property of stretching itself, was often used. Polyurethane is an excellent material in terms of its stretchability, but it is also basically heavy, which is one of its characteristics and a functional weakness. On the other hand, many polyester materials have a basic lightness, but they do not have stretchability. The material used this time is made of polyester based on molecules with a spring-like, spiral structure, and is a material that has finally achieved both stretchability and lightness.
And this stretch, of course it stretches, but another major feature is that it returns firmly after stretching (called kickback). It does not stay stretched, but returns firmly. It feels like the crease is correct.
In addition to this, it also has the inherent characteristics of polyester, such as ease of handling (it can of course be washed at home) and quick drying. Furthermore, by applying a post-processing process, it becomes a super functional material that also has water repellency.

Another great thing about this material is that it does not show its super functionality. Although it is a multifunctional synthetic material, it has a natural look and feels smooth and familiar anywhere. It does not look like it has many functions.
Its natural texture goes very well with the type of clothing called a cardigan, making it an item that can be used comfortably on the trail or in the city. The structure is made

in a double weave, which means that the front and back have different structures, creating an uneven surface on the skin, making it easy to separate from the skin and creating a smooth and comfortable fit. Furthermore, it
can be used as a sunburn prevention measure due to its UV protection effect.
